How do I connect Prowl to my agent?

Generate an API key in your dashboard, then point any MCP-capable agent (Cursor, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, or your own stack) at prowl.chat/mcp with your key. The install skill at /mcp/install.md writes the client config and a git-ignored token file for you.

How does billing work?

A single USD wallet. Subscriptions add monthly credits; you can also top up anytime. You pay only for the tool calls your agent actually makes. No per-seat fees, no per-report quotas. Unused subscription credit resets each period; purchased top-up credit never expires. Typical run cost: basic ≈ $3, deep ≈ $8.60, max ≈ $16.80 in credits.

What data sources does Prowl use?

408 intelligence tools spanning SEO, paid ads, SERP, traffic analytics, market and web data, returning real numbers, not model guesses. Your agent calls them on demand and synthesizes the results.

Do you store my prompts or sell my data?

No personal data is sold. Requests are used to run your analyses and improve reliability. See our privacy policy for details.

How do I know the numbers are real?

Every report runs on live tool data, and deep/max runs push claims through an adversarial verification pass: numeric claims are cross-checked against independent tools, conflicting evidence is flagged, and refuted claims are disclosed in an appendix — not silently dropped. Each claim carries a confidence rating. If we can't verify something, the report says so.

Can Prowl validate a product idea without a website?

Yes. Idea-in mode takes a raw product idea — no domain required — and maps demand, competitors, niche media, and market size, then returns a sourced GO / NO-GO verdict (the Idea Verdict module).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions cancel at the end of the current period from your account settings. No contracts, no lock-in.
