What the account is for

Two ways to use it. Your own agent — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or something you wrote — connects to the MCP endpoint at https://prowl.chat/mcp. Or you ask Prowl Agent, the built-in agent on prowl.chat, which runs on the same tools. The account holds the API key and the wallet both are metered against.

  • $15 in starter credit. Granted once per account, at signup, with no card on file.
  • An API key. Generated in MCP Home and shown once; it authorises every call your agent makes.
  • Prowl Agent. The Agent tab: ask a market question in chat and it answers with a report that cites its sources.
  • A per-call meter. Every invocation debits provider cost × markup, and the response says what it cost.
